If I had to pick this, mine would be Fall Out Boy. I've decided I actually like one album they did.
I start this thread here in the grand tradition of being obtuse and contrary.
I won't post a thread on fave deathcore though. There are some lines that you just don't cross.

Stay on topic you lot.
I don't post wind up threads on here just for people to digress on to parental masturbation. How dare you!!

Weezer are fuckin ace.
Really the Emo genre started years before what has commonly come to be known as Emo. It was an off-shoot from hardcore bands for those that wanted to put more melodic vocal in. Even bands like Hundred Reasons were latecomers to the original emo scene. I think songs like "I'll find you" by Hundred Reasons and some of the At the Drive in stuff are ok tbh. Much better than the likes of Panic at the disco and My chemical romance.

You bunch of poofters. Weezer are shit, that "Teenage Dirtbag" makes me want to kill people everytime I hear it. Yeah, I fucking hated Wheatus. They were shit. In other news, Sunny Day Real Estates The Rising Tide is a fucking awesome album, even though their fans only seem to like the first two albums.

Yeah, I think I've changed my mind already about FoB. Whilst I like From under the cork tree, There were some great bands that loosely come under the emo category that IMO are much better.
Jimmy Eat World I remember but they never really broke over here. Not even after the boy-band esque tunes like Sweetness. Bleed American was a fair tune though.

You're right, I'm think of Wheatus. After checking out Weezer on youtube, I share my opinion on both bands, which makes you a horrible bender

Weezer are a completely different premise. Wheatus don't even compare to Weezer.
Wheatus were just a pussy pop sensation for 2 seconds, whilst Weezer have been going since at least the early nineties, and play a wide range of stuff from grungey numbers to 50's rock n' roll influenced stuff. Weezer basically are a lot more original and creative. Wheatus on the other hand were pretty much dead and buried after their debut album on Sony.
