NP some Anathema that Dan kindly provided me: Serenades and Petencost III. I have to say it's nothing like I thought it would be and much less wimpy! Found Serenades dragged a little but enjoyed Pentecost a lot more, it may be that I'm getting into the style more. Cheers Dan, sorry it took me so long to get round to it!

That playlist would make me ejaculate black blood! In a good way, of course! It was a monumental session listening to those three, I can tell you!

I can imagine! I may very well actually do that same playlist, but go one further and add Infester "To The Depths, In Degradation" to the list

Playing Chinese Democracy loads. It rules. You are SO lame. Speaking of lame, what was the name of that terrible song with the catchy chorus from last week? I keep singing bits of it when my guard is down.

Trying to get past the stupid amount of reverb and delay on the vocals to vvvorld vvvivvout end by Oasis. Anal Cunt should've changed that song title to Bench Pressing the Effects on Drakh's Vocals...
Or maybe not. We all know that if anyone's vocal fx are a challenge to bench-press, it'd be Nergal's.
Other than that VVVVE sounds pretty sharp n' evil. Which is what we all like to hear in our music.

WWE is pretty much perfectly produced. Not everything should sound like Testament

It's a source of great irritiation to me that I've never heard Katharsis. Well, I've tried listening to their MySpace but I tend to find that's a waste of time.

Been listening to the first Arsis album, I'd forgotten how good they were before they dicked up their sound. A couple of songs there are truly storming.
In other news, my record player broke in the move to my new flat, so it's CDs and tapes until I can fix it.
