Regarding Genesis, I love the 80s/90s pop rock stuff. It probably all started with Patrick Bateman's epic missive on them to be honest. I've only got their best of, but I do keep meaning to give their earlier albums a proper listen.

This afternoon:
Celtic Frost - To Mega Therion (that has to be one of, if not the best guitar tone I've ever heard) Dead Congregation - Purifying Consecrated Ground and the latter half of Graves... Incantation - Mortal Throne of Nazarene
And now:
Blasphemophagher - Nuclear Empire of Apocalypse
I'm debating whether to go with some people to see District 9, or whether I should stay in, drink Schofferhofer and work my way through a bag of mini milk'n'white Toblerone.

The second option sounds far superior.

As it turns out, that's exactly what I'm doing. I need some suitable music...
Red Harvest - The Red Line Archives
Perfect.

NP: fucking nothing.
My Sennheiser headphones have packed in and the quality of the ones that came with my iPod is risible. Looks like I'll have to wait until my birthday to net a new set, meaning no lunchtime blastbeats for me.

I find Tiamtü gets increasingly boring as it goes on, but the first few tracks are excellent.
I'm currently watching Jurassic Park, and remembering how excellent Jeff Goldblum is.

Hmmmm. I think it's disappointing, although I really only love the first two tracks off the EP (no hope of spelling that without having it in front of me). Whenever I listen to Tiamtü I wind up getting a bit bored of it and wind up sticking Sworn to the Dark on instead.
