Well that's the big problem - where do you keep it?
The album is stunning though, I've played it about 6-7 times already and it gets better each time!

The last track on Brendan Perry's album is amazing. Obviously everything DCD is totally godly! Archangel? I guess I haven't listened to Eye of the Hunter enough to take it all in properly. Tell you what I am fucking looking forward to though: Ark. The new album is supposed to be out either this or next month. He's got some stuff about it on his site. The new track on the myspace site is fucking awesome too. He sounds as powerful as he did at his peak with DCD. That clip of Severance played live on youtube is still the dogs bollocks for me. :-)

Ah, but you pay for the EXCESSIVELY large box it comes in as well. Haha. No, I mean the label said he paid less for the postage than I was charged for. What about the cost of the box? The cost of parcel tape? And the amount of time it takes? I'd hardly say his costs are excessive.

NP:
Enforcer - Into the Night (Great album to energise you and make mundane tasks more pleasurable. I'd also say that this album is up there with virtually ANY 80s speed metal.)

I'd hardly say his costs are excessive. I only bought CDs, so it didn't come a box, no parcel tape. Admittedly I didn't take the price of packaging into consideration. Wouldn't mind if I got sent an LP now and again that didn't have it's packaging bent or scuffed though. Total agreement on Enforcer by the way! I can't believe you like them, but don't like the first Helloween album!!! Enforcer is pretty much a clone of that first album!

I think you've been unlucky, because nothing I've ever received from him has been damaged, and the packaging is always extremely good. If you really begrudge the guy a buck or two for the amount of time and effort he puts into putting out great music in high quality packaging I think that's cheap.

I'm on the dole, of course I'm fucking cheap! I can't even afford a pot noodle at the minute, so I'm afraid a couple of dollars really is a big deal to me! Perhaps I've inherited by dad's tightness a bit, but I'm of the opinion that if you waste a pound, it's a pound you could need later on, and when your income is £31 a week (before the bills) - that becomes very true!
You're right that he does release a lot of quality stuff, and the packaging is great, maybe he just has a vendetta against me, because I've been through my stuff and the only NWN LP I own that isn't damaged in some way cosmetically is the Funebrarum DLP and the Ignivomous Eroded Void 7".
I'm not however debating the quality of releases or anything, I just think that the postage situation could be improved upon - it's probably great for those with an income to buy a lot of stuff, but it just doesn't work out cost effectively for us skint folk!

I love Enforcer and I really like the Helloween debut but I can see no real connection! Fuck it, they both rule regardless.

Kai Hansen and Stormwarrior did a cracking job at Wacken 07 playing those songs.

Been enjoying Iron Void's live demo today, along with a SIN STARLETT - 'Call To The Punisher' that the Swiss guys gave me at the show.
