Fair point, actually mate. I must say though I've never suffered so much as cracked jewel case from NWN thanks to those boxes. I've had stuff from Hells Headbangers and Shadow Kingdom - amongst others - that just comes wrapped in a bit of bubble wrap and ended up with broken cases and those little teeth that hold the disc in place snapped also. I hate cracked cases as much as anyone but if its a choice between that and saving several quid, I'll go for the latter. There really is need for those prices, I've ordered plenty of shit from all over the world with very reasonable postage and never had a problem...No Escape Records is a good example.

NP: Portishead - Third
Some of the tracks on this album make me feel pretty paranoid, especially We Carry On.

Vomit Remnants absolutely slay live, but I've never managed to get totally excited over them on CD. If they ever do this new album, and do it with proper drums, it could turn out good, but the drum sounds on their other releases just kill it.

I think so! I know they signed to Unique Leader and then just went quiet! Apparently Viktor who used to be in Bludgeon joined them after they signed up... but there's been no news for years!

Pretty much spot on, me and Marek saw them @ Neurotic Deathfest a couple of years back were fucking awesome. Metal archives says there are still active.

I put them on in Stoke, it was the only successful gig I ever put on here. Still there were only about 3 locals in attendance!

Embalmed Souls - Six Rites of Possession Bill, Wayne and Luke need to check this out ASAP if they haven't already! Awesome stuff! Got the Temple of Bizarre Cult demo and that is CRUSHING. Need to check out their other releases asap. Very underrated band.

Put Amongst the Catacombs on instead... it's a lot better Devastating and really energising record.

Need to check out their other releases asap. Very underrated band. The new one is a rehearsal demo, so the quality isn't as good as Temple... but it's still very good for a rehearsal. The songs are a lot darker on the new one! I've got a copy here for you anyway! Put Amongst the Catacombs on instead... it's a lot better Devastating and really energising record. Totales! Brutality done the right way! I remember the first time I heard The Howling of the Jinn on a compilation when I were a wee lad, I almost shit myself!
