It was totally excellent! Music was a little loud maybe, but I am getting old and I like chatting I'm a homo.

ditto - ears still doing weird things. The downstair area is good..maybe we could get some of the music piped downstairs...take over the pub so to speak. Drinks promos...would go down well erm..yeh apart from that it was awesome. Big kudos points for having GIRLS tshirts..made my day that did:D

Yeah the sounds was a bit too loud to really enjoy the bands much. I also heard a few people having a little moan and grumble about the drink prices, but besides that s'all good! The downstairs area was nice as it was like a little break place, 'had enough of the bands upstairs? can't take anymore pounding riffs or booming blast beats? why not have a quiet drink downstairs til your ready again'

Too loud?! psssh granted haven't yet attented a gig at Chapter 11, but in my day bands (especially extreme metal bands) were supposed to be loud, no? Chitchat was done in between bands.

Who was that bellend in the sleveless t-shirt and baseball cap that was running around and waving his arms about like he was at a disco? I thought he was on E at first, because of the way he was dancing. He was some Eastern European guy. Not to worry, he was dealt with ;D

He was wankered when he got there. On the door he tried to engage me in an ethical conversation of why he should have to pay to get in and went steadily downhill from there!

Ah so its your fault he got in was it Casper...don't think he'll be coming back after Tom went all ultimate warrior on his ass! LMAO.
It was an ace night but I think an hour of death metal straight after the bands killed the crowd...its all good for some heavy stuff, but would be cool if all the DJ's mix it up a bit, I think everyone would appreciate that.
Hell yeah if we could get some drinks promos on the go...I could get even more drunk!!
Plus they don't sell Jager...so Tom...you know what to do...get onto Jo @ Jager...me and the Soph had to do tequila shots and Terrovision are not right it does not make you happy it makes you drunkard!
I was a bit worried the bar staff didn't seem to know about drinks prices either, I got charged different prices, and then got wise to it by the third or fourth pint...so what that people.
All in all it was excellent....here's to the next one.
Can someone hook me up with a poster in text so I can start blogging on myspace again, like the last one, maybe Tom you can sort something like the first one with all the text and stuff, I don't wanna get rusty!!

Yeah thats a good point about the bar staff not knowing the prices. There is a slight suspicion that the prices may have been hiked for the night, but I am assured the Team is on the case!

I was talking with Paddy about volume, he said that at the back of the room it was perfect, but up front it was too dense and muddy. Just dodgy acoustics to blame? I thought it was pretty well perfect. Apart from prices, I really can't fault it. It'd be nice to get the music played downstairs, albeit at a lower volume, so people can go talk more - if at all possible? Quite a lot of that bunch of people I brought seemed pretty well enamoured with it all, 4 of them promised they'd return Also, I feel I've gotta give it up for the wildy enthusiastic barstaff... Bastards

I think you should send someone in there undercover in the week to check the drinks prices like a mystery shopper....obviously someone that is that metal looking...that'll scuper them!!
I was charged £2.55 and then £2.60 for a pint of strongbow so I got wise to it and kept giving them the exact change for £2.55...im sure I saved myself enough 5p's for a new pint hahahahaha!

It was an ace night but I think an hour of death metal straight after the bands killed the crowd...its all good for some heavy stuff, but would be cool if all the DJ's mix it up a bit, I think everyone would appreciate that. Well, seeing as I played Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Immortal, Venom, Satyricon and Motorhead and that almost all the death metal was requests (Amon Amarth, Entombed, Death, Strapping Young Lad) I think you should maybe reconsider...

Im just going on the disapearance on half the crowd after the bands, which is a fair judgement i'd say.
