OK, I'm bringing a friend a long with me on Wednesday. Said friend is called Chris. He's also from Liverpool, so make sure you all double bolt your pockets, k? Anyways, so this Chris dude is about as metal as... aluminium (yeah, none of that hardcore plutonium shit), in that his fave bands are NIN and Therapy?. Now don't get me wrong, that's cool and all, I'm just letting you know he's gonna come have a few beers and generally be scared my the brutality of it all. But for some godforsaken reason he's bringing two of his mates. And they're similarly top blokes (heck, one of them even supports the Mighty Reds) but they're as metal as marshmellows. But like I say they're really top blokes and I'm sharing a house with them next eyar so please please please, no excessive laughing

try 'High Anxiety' last but one album... i think it was a real return to form. Infernal Love was one of my faves:) moment of clarity live was a major highlight of the last time i saw them. Ive seen them four times now and they continue to rank as one of the most consitently good live acts ive seen....fat irish bastards the lot of them

I have seen them loads, and went back stage and had beers with Andy Cairns. Back stage they had the following rock and roll items:
Toaster Thousand island dressing
On can only imagine....

Ever since one of them left they don't play Diane live anymore, because they've got no-one to play cello... First time I saw them they came on stage to that "robin hood, robin hood, riding through the glen" tune, it was awesome! As you said Ruth, metal as cheddar but they have their moments. 3 decent albums I reckon... I don't like High Anxiety Oh yeah and I saw them play with the Wildhearts too! Those Geordie fuckers were slagging LFC off because Newcastle were winning the race for 4th place and the arse end of the season. It did not go down well for them from then on. And Therapy? were a bit wank that night, too.
