Earlier: Grand Magus - Iron Will I feel approximately 5 times more manly after listening to this than I did before. A totally awesome album. I think the new one could be equally good, although I've not listened to it enough yet.

Rotting Christ - AEALO
I can't make my mind up about this album. I've listened to it three times since yesterday and I absolutely love some of the riffs and the female vocals, but it's quite one-paced and unimaginative.
Also:
Burial Hordes - War, Revenge and Total Annihilation (utterly, utterly killer) Blasphemophagher - Nuclear Empire of Apocalypse

Lately:
Incantation - Onwards to Golgotha Autopsy - Mental Funeral Slaughter Lord - Thrash 'til Death Coil - Horse Rotorvator
I urge anyone who likes later Ulver to check out the last band, as there's plenty of similarities, and I'm sure Coil influenced Ulver a fair bit. Don't be put off by the fact that the first song on that album is called Anal Staircase though...

Surely a track called Anal Staircase is a selling-point?!

Darkspace - III
I think I underrated this album as a mere mix of the first two Darkspace albums. It's huge, vast and unbelievably dark. Total bleak astral hypnotism.

I agree with you about III. I've listened to it more than the other two, that's for sure.

Onion Munchers - SMR,C
I don't know if it's purely because of repetition but I think I enjoy this album slightly more now than I ever have done. It's still ludicrously over-hyped but I no longer loathe it.

Today I've been listening to Slough Feg, Bolt Thrower, Bible of The Devil, Terra Firma, Enforcer, Dusk, Debauchery and Hooded Menace. This is my first exposure to Dusk, and I can't decide if I mainly hate it but that some bits are great or if I mainly like it but some bits are terrible.

Ihsahn - After
Thought I should give this a listen, since I've been bought a ticket to the London gig next week. Sounds good so far, probably better than AngL.
