I just realised I got an order from NWN sent to my old Selly Oak address. What a total wanker I am.

I just realised I got an order from NWN sent to my old Selly Oak address. What a total wanker I am. Since I moved at the start of September I've managed to get two parcels sent to my last address (one of which wasn't my fault), and one to my address from about three years ago when I lived in Heeley Road. Thankfully, the tenants at my last address and the post office in Selly Oak have been cooperative.

Ulver - Bergtatt (finally!) Arcturus - La Masquerade Infernale
Interestingly, Bergtatt is available for a paltry £3.77 on iTunes. I've paid £12 for the CD copy. I'd always prefer a CD copy, but it's interesting to see the disparity - particularly for what is, in my opinion, one of the greatest albums ever written.

Interestingly, there's hope that an agreement will be reached to prevent the strike anyway.
I'm not sure how much it helps. Unison, the union of which I'm a member, is about as much use as an arse pocket in a vest when it comes to taking action. Plus, they always strike over the wrong sodding issues. They should have accepted a pay cut in exchange for more holidays and increased freedom of movement within the council but no, they've stuck to wanting inflationary pay rises. Daft.

Just spent £45 in Morrisons. My freezer draw looks like a butchers!
The drive back was awesome, listening to Yes. My flatmate loves prog rock and found out yesterday that her dad played bass in Agony Bag for a while!

By the way, if you fly Easyjet, do they send your air tickets through the post? Or do you collect them along with boarding passes at the airport (never flown single before and REALLY need to know). No you use the boarding pass both way's to collect your ticket so remember to print a copy and keep it safe. Chuck Berry ticket Conan's Brethren: The Classic Heroes - Robert E Howard
