Not a bad, but a game.
Mass Effect, the choice of options like an adventure game, combat, customizable characters. I should LOVE this like I love Deus Ex but I really couldn't get into it.

It's strange how sometimes a very close tribute/copy can be preferable to the original. I certainly get that with some bands; Proclamation and Blasphemy for example.

Oh come on, I can't believe no-one's took the gift-horse and replied: ET >Bolt-thrower To take the piss!! Talk about slow on the bloody uptake. hehe.

Blut Aus Nord
For as interesting as they should be - the beguiling website, the dark atmosphere and mystique and so on - I still can't get into them. The music just isn't that good.
Maybe I've missed their "good" album...

The best in my opinion is The Mystikal Beast of Rebellion. Very single minded and violent. The Work That Transforms God is very good too, as is the EP that came after it. I like the early black metal stuff, but it's not quite as good. MoRT is an INSANE album; incredibly complex and difficult to get into, but worth the effort.

I'll give them more time to sink in then. I liked TWTTG, but I found they kept doing that thing with the warpy bendy chords too much. (I should know better terminology wise but it's been a fucking long time since I took my theory exams) That and the drum machine wasn't the best sounding. Anyroad, I'll find time soon enough and report back.
