Let's hear your feedback on 2008 then... we booked loads of wicked bands, loads of international bands and went completely bust / disillusioned along with it. But which ones were best?
I have a feeling a few people will be going for the same show, so it'd probably be more interesting if as well as doing the poll you could list your top three, and say why.

You cheeky git! What's all these accusations of me being a miserable fuck on here lately? I'll have you know I'm making a real effort to be nice at the minute! Anyway, I voted the Grave Miasma/Terrorama one because that was fucking killer! And there weren't any of your shite fun thrash bands on

Fun thrash is a grossly overused term.
1. Grave Miasma/Terrorama 2. Enforcer 3. Lamp of Thoth

I only made it up for the one show last year, but Enforcer were fucking killer. Would have liked to have seen the Terrorama/Grave Miasma gig, though.

I really enjoyed Hour of Penance and Impaled, although Origin were not really my kind of thing. Less enjoyed getting my car locked in the car park over night - teach me to hang around ligging with the bands.
I also really enjoyed the Condemned show, even though it suffered from being on a Sunday, and having a really poor turn out.
I'm finding it really hard to choose a third show...I thought FKU were great so maybe that one.

Awesome work by all those who who read my post about top THREE and then only listed one. Unless you only came to one, of course.
For me a toss up between the first two shows of the year and the birthday one. The Enforcer and Nocturnal shows were amazing in terms of general band quality, but from my point of view as organiser everything went so well with them outside of the music. The birthday one was just a load of the best friends we've made through Reanimator playing a killer show.
I think maybe Nocturnal edges out the others for the sheer quality of the bands on the lineup.

Haha I knew that you was going to say that. I cant vote for FKU or the Impaled one cause they were my own gigs. So its between Condemned and Enforcer

Number 1 Gama Bomb, HOD, Seregon, Dark Forest, Battlewitch - really enjoyed seeing Gama Bomb and Seregon again. Dark Forest were just awesome. HOD were the usual crowd pleasers - I've gone blank on Battlewitch.
Number 2 Origin, Impaled, Hour of Penance - Impaled were the band of the night for me. I play their CD regularly.
Number 3 Sarpanitum, Sorrowfall, Anoxia, Devoured Genitals (or whatever name they are currently using) Sorrowfall were a real discovery for me. Finally got to see Sarpanitum after trying for over a year. Might have ranked higher if the tent had been a bit more wind proof!!
Some really good bands in the other 7 gigs and a few great ones.
Thanks again for putting these on.

I really like Nocturnal, and I was impressed on the night but I need to see them again really because I was hammered by then and don't remember too much!
