Luckily Billy was the only one doing any punching last night ;D I saw him slap Max a couple of times. Did I miss anything other than that?

That was about it, I think. Pretty unexpected though!

i was nursing a horrible hangover this morning, bejesus. imindain were the best for me, wasn't too fussed abut anything else, centurion's ghost were pretty good though.

I liked the music of Centurians Ghost, but the vocals put me off. If it had more death/doom sounding vocals, they'd be incredible, because it would fit the music perfectly.

Great night, nice venue if a little on the warm side... First band were ok, had some nice bits but seemed a bit monotonous towards the end. Imindain were superb, reminded me of Wormphlegm a tad at times. Thoroughly loved Raiders, my neck's aching a bit today but unfortunately we left without seeing Centurion's Ghost as me and the missus both felt like utter crap. We heard a bit of them from outside though, sounded good to me. Note to self: leave denim jacket in car next time haha. Though whoever it was from Imindain (I think?) who said about "needing a Moss patch" as I walked past, I think you may be out of luck...

A comeuppance there will be. That was true, Max did go a little over the top. Though it was funny, me and JP trying to hold them apart with our left arms whilst trying to save our beers in the right Was a good night a tad slow for me, but always good to hear something different! We need to organise more dj nights (maybe in summer?) I love reanimator but just wanted to chat to people hadn't seen in ages!

Tath, try checking out Centurions Ghost's first album - they had a different vocalist then who might be more to your taste. It took me a while to 'get' the new vocalist when I first heard him.

Imindain were band of the night for me, none of the others were really my kind of thing. Excellent night though, always good to catch up with people I don't see enough of.
Far too much beer was had though, and I paid for it this morning!

First of all - thanks for having us on guys, and many appologies about the problems and hold ups! We DID play a bit faster to get a bit more stuff in, but generally the newer stuff is a bit more "pacey" (if that's a word) than we used to be. The Wormphlegm comparison is an honour and a half, it's certainly not intentional, but that is cool. And yeah - I think I remember Lee saying something about the Moss patch. He was pissed as a cunt.
Only downside apart from the "technical" problems though was the heat - fucking unbearable on stage! Appologies that we had to leave so early, but the heat made Sam ill and she passed out briefly, so we figured it would be a plan to get back. Hope we didn't come across as rude or anything.
Anyway - cheers guys! Hopefully we can return some day soon... and I shall return to a gig soon playing or not and wreak havoc this time minus a hangover!

Similarly, I had to leave early, because the heat and smoke were drying my contact lenses out. Combined with the extreme pollen count yesterday, I could barely keep my eyes open when I got home, they were so swollen.
Good gig, despite missing the headliners due to being a ponce. I hope everyone enjoyed their demo. I'll bring more next time. Those were the last copies.
Arma Diaboli recs will have some in stock as soon as the post gets there, if anyone feels like ordering some stuff from them.

Cheers Dan! We really appreciated having you guys on, no worries about anything. Sadly I was on the door during your entire set but you sounded decent.
Sorry to everyone about the heat - it was obscenely hot. There's no openable windows or anything up there as far as I'm aware but I'll see if we can work something out for July: I don't want anyone else passing out or having to leave early or anything.

Enjoyed this.
Was having a shit shit weekend, but decided we'd go along to get cheered up. Missed the first two bands, but Blood Island Raiders put on a great show.
Lost my phone on the way home. Fucking annoyed, shitty end to a horrible weekend.

I ought to actually say hello to you one of these times. Dan - as far as the the Wormphlegm thing goes, I wouldn't say you sounded like them on the whole, more that as I was watching/listening certain things brought them to mind, which is fine and dandy by me and I mean it in a positive way too.
