This venue is like the next street over to the left if your looking at the front of the old sanctuary building, but its behind whatevers up from that, its like in the next street on the corner, in more or less the same position as the hostel.

It must be Billys as thats roughly the area you're describing. If so, I've dj'd there and the owner is a really nice friendly guy who gets a decent, if not hugely supportive audience.

It's definitely not Billys. That is the hostel where we put Hell Militia. It's no longer a pub.

Peste Noire, worth looking into, but still daunting. Hell Militia was exceptional though, and we pulled it off regardless, so I think if the team can survive that then they (/we at the time) can survive anything.

And "booking fee"?! Ha!

Something really nasty should support this if it goes ahead, like the scumbags in Salute!

Great! Good to see the Urgehal boys again, and with Watain the day(s) before it was like a family reunion!

Koldbrann were fairly static, but with 2 guitarists and a bass player there wasn't much room to move, and the vocalist's mic cable got snagged on a floorboard so he couldn't move more that about 2 feet.

Urgehal were fantastic, although having seen them a couple of years ago with firebreathing gimps onstage with them, they just couldn't live up to that! Taake were great. Hoest is a really energetic frontman. I saw him in Ragnarok at the same time as Urgehal the last time, and he was awesome then too.

I wouldn't know, I only have Nattestid and Bjoergvin. They're decent, but not really my thing.
