It's only three weeks until Wacken, which is nice. I know a lot of you lovely people out there are eschewing the Argon coach from hell journey in favour of flying over. Me and Luke, and a few others from this board including Ian and Andy from Sarpanitum are flying over on Wednesday 3rd August out of Birmingham.
I was just wondering if anyone wanted to meet up in Hamburg so we can travel down en masse?

Yes, coach from hell - nothing, and I do mean nothing, will ever force me to set foot on that coach again.

Well, put it this way - I'm not a fan of Peter Kaye, and I'm not a fan of the Macc Lads, and on the way back in 2002 we had the entire series of Phoenix Nights, followed by Peter Kaye at the top of the tower on the telly, and the best of the Macc Lads for four hours on the stereo until someone threatened to lamp the driver if he didn't turn it off. Plus we were delayed outside Hamburg by major flooding and a huge biker rally, extending the journey by several hours - and we hadn't even picked up the people from the hotel at that point!

I personally find being in such enforced close proximity to other human beings fairly hellish. Nothing personal, but I get very claustrophobic and very misanthropic.

Let it go on record that Peter Kaye is the least funny person in the world. Ever.

In some people's opinions. I don't like him, but some people do. I'm in a fairly chilled mood today, which considering also how fucking nervous I am as well is astounding. I'm waiting for a call from our solicitor to say I can go pick up the keys to our new house.

It's a done deal sunshine, we've got our own gaff at last. Albeit in sunny Northfield, but everyone's gotta start somewhere.

Not until early September, as there's Wacken in the way and family visits and a friend's handfasting ceremony to attend...
