I remember the crap article on black metal in Bizarre! Poorly researched doesn't even do it justice! Maybe we should turn this thread into a discussion of how godly Terrorizer (the band) were! Or perhaps I should say are, as Pete Sandoval said that there's going to be a new record! ....Terrorizer are back with a new album soon

;D i got some new rocks today ;D but more on the subject, i'd say both magazine are about the same, both have had stuff i've liked, stuff i;ve hated and stuff i;ve just not been interested in. as well as Terrorizer never advertising the gigs we did supposedly sponsoered by them, and ZT advertising the wrong bands for one of em

....Terrorizer are back with a new album soon So are Celtic Frost..... mixed by Pete Tagtren, of all things. WTF? I have to say I'm not keen on this current spate of revivals and reformations of classic acts in metal.... it's produced a few good albums but I think a lot of legends are going to have their legacies ruined because of it.

all music journalism is crap really. My rule of thumb tends to be, whatever they say, believe the opposite! I agree that Bizarre is sensationalist but what isn't these days. The media is constantly being dumbed down, so you might as well get a laugh out of it in my opinion. Even the times is getting more gossip pages than cosmo! Its a disgrace. So why don't you all wait until I bring out my own magazine: Katecore McMetalFest Deathageddon....then I'll show you some good journalism

HAHAHA fucking yes. But seriously, why don't you do an e-zine or something, with everyone contributing stuff to it. It would help your journalism career.

No magazine can top METAL HAMMER. They put Nightwish in their newcomer category for 2005 and the underground band shortlist included such little known acts as Behemoth and Mortiis.

<behemoth> according to Metal Hammer Can me and Luke do the gore section of the e-zine? I can get sick photos off my surgeon friends. Like one of a guy with a telegraph pole up his crotch.

Gave up reading Metal Hammer years back after they reviewed Face Down's first album saying that it was an excellent album, which was a surprise as Sweden isn't known for producing Metal bands ;D Oh yeah, and they also said that Earth Crisis's album Gomorrah's Season Ends sounds like a Death Metal album, WTF! Never really read Kerrang due to the type of bands they feature, but at least they actually know what they are talking about

but how would you know, if you've never really read it?
Ha - I laugh at the idea of Gomorrah's Season Ends sounding like a death metal album. Maybe once upon a time, back in the days when I didn't know what a blast beat sounded like, I too might have made that mistake. might. These are supposedly knowledgeable journos.
