hey ho hold on there, sure Arsis aren't pure DM, I think they are supposed to be a big cross-over between loads of styles and I certainly wouldn't want to have to stick them in a particular genre, but FUCK calling them emo! Emo lyrics: cos they have a song about a bereavement letter? Have you read them? It is not about crying your eyes out, its poking fun at them and saying that you killed the person you are sad about. Not emo at all. As for the layout of their songs, I have not the faintest idea of what you are on about. They are fast, heavy, tuneful and fucking wicked and I like them, so there And I thought Luke did too actually.

yes yes you should !!! Although if your not a fan of piss poor production avoid almost all their early stuff, they really need to re-record it as it really does no justice to their music. Their new album 'Reclaim the Beat' has hit their sound on the head, def. worth checking out

Can't thank enough for the Deceased recommendation - I'm playing Fearless Undead Machines to DEATH!
I seriously recommend this album to everyone - I can't see anyone failing to get something out of it - great thrashing parts, melodic death riffs (but in a really good way) and it's tuneful and memorable enough to appeal to power metal fans. The vocals are clean but powerful and its a very atmospheric album with a great zombie concept and well written lyrics.
