My only regret is that i missed so many performances! A lot of them I only saw half of. Those who went, what do you think on the venue? Would you go to another show there?

When i say mosh I don't mean really trying to fuck each other up. I hate that. I can handle well-intentioned shoving and headbanging. That's more like semi-contact, which is just a bit of fun. No-one gets hurt that way.

Absolutely no chance of a return to the Bristol Pear I'm afraid, my frustrations with the setup there have reached breaking point. I only bought a round of drinks for Diamanthian, but I did get a Varsity card for a quid that made them a lot cheaper. Can't remember how much the discount was but it def. brought them from unreasonable to reasonable.

I thought their sound was a little muddy and they had some equipment problems just as they finished their intro which killed their momentum a little bit. Their new vocalist is a big improvement on the old guy, he's much more intense: the other bloke came across as a bit goofy. As with a lot of alldayers they suffered a bit from going on at the end when everyone was pretty tired / drunk but i thought they played a good set. Not a classic though.

Good venue, good sound. Same reservations about drinks prices too although that didn't really seem to stop me.

I remember seeing them back in 2005 at MDF there vocalist had a wifebeater on his vocals were killer but looked a jackass on stage. I think there set is on the dvd I did actually. Have'nt really listened to em for an age. How many albums have they had since PoE? I know they have done a couple of splits.

Sorry I didn't make it - another serious family illness meant that I was going nowhere at the weekend except as a chauffeur.
Glad it went well. I saw 3 or 4 of the bands at Leeds the week before and they were all good
Definitely going to try for what ever you put on next.
