It's by a band called The Reverend Pokey Bunge (from the album Butt Outta Hell!), and it's to the tune of Take My Breath Away. I think it's from the Top Gun soundtrack or something.
I may play it on Weds as a treat, because they use reasonably heavy guitars. I'll have to listen again to see what it's like, as it may get boring later. I can't remember.
That's also a problem with a lot of the BM I listen to. There are some things in my personal taste that I know people will either think is crap, or wouldn't stand up to being played over a PA. YOU'D GET TOO MANY PEOPLE LEAVING WITH TINNITUS!

Heh. I knocked the caps lock on by mistake at the end of that post, although the shouting seems quite appropriate.

Indeed, if you played something from The Oath of Black Blood over a PA I think it would actually just be noise....

I thought you were poor and even homeless?!
I was toying with playing some crotchduster tomorrow, what are peoples feelings on that? It has death metal and also rap, soul, electro. punk, basically just a big song that takes the piss. Hmmm.
My mammal sauce is the best mammal sauce!

What's the new Black Witchery like? I was considering getting it, but chose the split with Conqueror instead. Good choice on the Demoncy by the way! It was a bit of an impulse buy so i've only listened to it the once since i got it. i guess its ok..nothing special so far ( it might be a grower). This is the first Black Witchery release I've owned so i have nothing really compare it to. Musically its sounds a lot like sped up version of Demoncy - Joined In Darkness ,although its not as good atmospherically as the Demoncy. do you use MSN? I'd be happy to send you a track or two if you wanna check it out

No, the crotchduster CD is multiple tracks, but each one seriously is a total mix of styles. So long as you can accept that it is not just death metal all the way through, then I think it is really funny, and also well written. Starfish land is funny too, guess what that one's about I only have the free songs off their site though, let me know what the whole album is like when you get it...

I have MSN, but I'm never online long enough at any one time to use it. Bring it along to the next Reanimator and give me a good track to play I had a killer set last night, albeit cut short by having to catch the last train again, and I'll be posting the playlist shortly.

I have to confess to being a bit of a prat here... I'm not really into uberextreme metal Although sludge is pretty... Wed of Piss by Iron Monkey is a beast of a track, muahahahahaha At the moment I've been on a heady diet of Ayreon, Strapping Young Lad, Nine Inch Nails, Dimmu, Messugah and... uh, Whitesnake (yeah, I'm that guy). Much of what is played at Reanimator sails happily through my ear drums, raping and pillaging away... but fuck it, it's all good sordid fun. You can happily blame rich and i for the Whitesnake...and the SYL and Aryeon....everyone really shoul own that album...

Mausoleum - Cadaveric Displays of Ghoulish Ghastliness
FUCK! This is one killer slab of old-school DM, might as well be the lost Autopsy album! Really creepy shit....
Hell Militia - Canonisation of the Foul Spirit
Bit of a grower, very tortured vocals, seemed a bit monotonous at first, but reveals depth on further listens.
