We turned the sound down this time but some people still told me it was really loud. Is this true?
Cheaper drinks - any opinions? (not that we can get them any cheaper, but what the hell)
Giveaways - were they worth doing, or not?

It's still too loud during bands. I still have tinnitus.

I don't really think you could have got away with turning it down much more without some folks complaining the other way, but I am no gauge for volume as I am old and deaf, and lame, and smell of piss. Cheap drinks - yeah baby, enjoying the £1.50 price once I remembered and reminded the bar staff they were charging too much. Couldn't stay for the giveaways this month, but I ain't looking a giftwhore in the mouth. |

Yeah the £1.50 bottles of Stella went down extreemly well  Though I have to agree about the loudness, between bands the DJ'ing was fine, but during it was just a wall of noise far too loud still in my opinion. Was chatting to a few people at the bar and we all must be getting old as all thought the same! Though when I was on the stairs chatting to Billy it was so much quieter and clearer there! |

I think the acoustics have a lot to answer for in Chapter 11; it'll be difficult to get it right.

yeah the volume didnt really bother me, i think the sound in that place is gonna be crap whatever.
is it possible to get them to sack the barstaff? one of them was RIGHT cunt!
