I think the last train back to town is 11.30 or so, and the last band usually finishes at 11. The buses run back until midnight too.

I personally hate running the gigs in Selly Oak. If there was any alternative in town (and I dont mean Scruffys) we'd be there.

Yeah, ideally it would be in town but Selly Oak is no problem. I can't speak for individuals who may have difficulty getting home, but it's apathy keeping most people away.

They obviously don't have close personal friends they can stay with after the gigs.  Haha. Yeah, it is convenient that I can sometimes stay with Billy. Even so, if that's not a possibility I just catch a bus back into town and I'm usually in time to then get the last bus home. If I miss that I'll get a taxi, but I'm lucky enough to live close enough to town for it to only cost me £6.
