I think the last train back to town is 11.30 or so, and the last band usually finishes at 11. The buses run back until midnight too.

I personally hate running the gigs in Selly Oak. If there was any alternative in town (and I dont mean Scruffys) we'd be there.

Yeah, ideally it would be in town but Selly Oak is no problem. I can't speak for individuals who may have difficulty getting home, but it's apathy keeping most people away.

Even so, if that's not a possibility I just catch a bus back into town and I'm usually in time to then get the last bus home. If I miss that I'll get a taxi, but I'm lucky enough to live close enough to town for it to only cost me £6. |
