A socialising period at a metal gig? I thought that was what we did in the chip shop queue on the way home. Otherwise its a waste of valuable drinking time. So who has been ripping gravestones out of the ground etc etc? No! No! Tell me tomorrow - it will be something to talk about in the new socialising period. Shame about Dead Existance - a death in the family is always a bummer. Still 3 bands are better than nothing. Chop has been raving about a band called Overproof - tells me that I should go and see them now if not sooner. They were supposed to be playing the Newt last Sunday but Walking Corpse broke up and the venue cancelled the gig. Rescheduled to this Sunday but those nice people in the West Midlands constabulary have arranged for city centre pubs to closed on Sunday - football match? They might be available at short notice. They have a very nice female drummer. Met them at the Down gig last week. They seem real keen to impress. www.myspace.com/overproofbeer Cheers Bill |

Infractor are indeed confirmed for tonight, and thanks to them for coming through for us at the last minute. As there's only three bands on the door cost is being reduced to £4, which gives you a whole extra £1 to spend on beer.
