I thought the energy and theatrics of Heathen Foray's performance was brilliant, something we don't often see at Reanimator. They brought a busload of their own fans down, which was a masterstroke. Great guys too. It turned out some of their fans had come from elsewhere in the country rather than down on their bus as well...I met a girl from Kent who was staying the night in Wolverhampton! And they covered Falkenbach Yeah, so I know who some of you are now! Although I'll no doubt forgot faces by next time...

I was working in the Union, amidst a load of cheese nights, alone, thinking of how much I'd like to be at Reanimator.
Oh well, forward to pie!

My night was made by the sight of you wearing the Wulfstan hair and headbanging to Metallica! I kind of remember this happening. It was Ride The Lightning wasn't it? It was the first time that my lack of hair really hit me!

Certainly was. You were splendidly drunk. I've decided I quite enjoy drunk-watching - it almost makes up for being sober for the third reanimator in a row.

I had a great night. Rannoch's first and last songs again were the best for me, then I liked Heathen Foray. For some reason Sirocco didn't appeal as much, but I may have been too drunk by then. Good night though!

I tried them earlier this year but sadly we couldn't meet their demands to justify getting them over for a one-off. Next time they tour over here it might be a different matter. To hijack the thread further, have a listen to these guys: I'd love to have them over for a show at some point next year.. www.myspace.com/darkestera From Myspace: 19 Jul 2008 20:00 REANIMATOR - Bristol Pear Birmingham Ah, Luke you sweet, sweet lad Brilliant
