You'll have to face the wrath of his mate Chris, if that's the case...
Speaking of which, that wimp has yet to make a spandex-clad appearance at Reanimator with his other gringo buddies...

Is Reanimator an all ages night? It's in a bar, therefore by default it's over 18s, however we do have a few young lads who attend and have promised not to buy beer at the bar and so far they seem to have stuck to that. There's never been a problem with them. If people look old enough and don't act like dicks then they're welcome, I think. Ah right. Lee's wife was going to bring their daughter with them, but as she's only 14, she won't look old enough to get in.

As long as she doesn't buy alcohol, It should be fine.
But the atmosphere of smoke, alcohol and drunken cunts in a fucking soulfly shirt starting unnecessary, annoying moshpits is hardly the best thing for a 14 year old girl, though.

Hmmm. I've got no problem at all with her coming along, the only thing we have to be wary of is underage drinking which could lose us the venue, and as this isn't going to be some random little kids off the street type thing I guess that wouldn't be an issue. I don't know how the Bristol Pear would react however, do you want me to have a word with them about it?

Taths right though, the place will be full of sweaty drunks! Not a very daughter friendly environment!

I can't see that they'd have a problem, since she'd be going with her parents. Can't get much more responsible than that!

If you could have words that would be great. Of course there would be no boozing, and she's very used to metal behavior, she's very cool and mature for her age.

I think the youngest we have let in have been 16, but its usually a case if its busy or not.

It's a no-go I'm afraid, they don't allow under 18s full stop. Sorry mate.

Thats a shame. That venues restrict people supporting the local metal scene by attending gigs, just because of age.
Luke, are there any venue staff besides at the bar in the band room? As long as her mother or Lee gets her non-alcoholic drinks for her from the bar, and theres no staff she has to pass, only Billy, Luke or Povey on the door. I don't really see any problem at all.

Thats a shame. That venues restrict people supporting the local metal scene by attending gigs, just because of age. Yeah it sucks but it is a pub and its not my licence and name on the door and the £5,000 fine that 'can' come with it. When I when the lottery things will be better.

Then she should be able to sneak past easily and just stay away from the bar (who will most likely be too busy anyway), and get her parents to get her drinks.
