Wouldn't dvds be pretty distracting though? Although, someone could knock up about an hour's worth of clips and mash them into a single dvd, just certain scenes to create an atmosphere so people just have a look now and again rather then stand/sit and watch the whole thing?

Yeah, my mate used to do that at an indie DJ night and it was really cool, something to look at, weird little clips ("chicken, b-b-beef or pork?") and that.

The problem when we had DVDs on in Mono Bar was that everyone was more focused on them than the music. Also, it's not really feasible given that we only have short change overs between bands, and usually under an hour at the end of the night, by which point most people are preparing to leave.

Cricket is indeed a pseudo-sport, along with the likes of chess and tiddlywinks. Only football is real. Believe it or not, I was actually playing tiddlywinks at a barbecue on Sunday. And that isn't a euphemism. |

Agreed. The only good things about Star Wars are lightsabres and the dark side of the force, and they're both utilised badly throughout the original trilogy. Some of the games can be quite fun. Actually, come to think of it, they are alright films, but let's face it - poor acting, basic story.
In a twist that will shock everyone I know, I bought a boxed set of the LotR novels today for a mere £10 from amazon.
