I get a lot of bands contacting me and asking about Reanimator, most of whom I've never heard of before and of varying quality... Out of interest, would people be interested in checking out any bands that we're impressed with if I post links here? Whilst I like the element of surprise in finding these bands and sticking them on for you guys, it seems daft in a way for me to not share them as soon as they come up.

Yeah, it wouldn't do any harm, I'll offer my ill-informed opinion.

Check these out - three bands that I've enjoyed and been speaking to of late.... Thirteenth Sign - Melodic death metal with some great leads.. Refreshingly good stuff, has really grown on me. I don't think their best stuff is on the myspace page, but listen at www.myspace.com/thirteenthsign Bonesaw - Old school death metal from Scotland. Got a dirty, catchy sound with elements of Abcess and Autopsy in there. The track I liked the best was 'Cleanse'. www.myspace.com/bonesawuk Shieldwall - British folky metal, a bit like Turisas, ie. quite keyboard driven. 'The Sword' is amazingly catchy. www.myspace.com/shieldwallI've gotta say that whilst I want your feedback I'm not interested in peoples opinions if they don't care for this kind of music... so if you don't like melodic death metal don't tell me you think 13th Sign suck. I know you think that and I don't care. Ok?

That cover for Live By The Bone... Die By The Saw is great!
Not my kind of stuff, but enjoyable. Reminded me a bit of Bloodbath actually, although I'm still not decided whether I like them either ;D
I won't offer a review of the others as it's not my thing at all, but I will register my disinterest to help give an indication.

Not on the same bill! Glad you like them though. Bonesaw could be here very soon.... Early Bloodbath rocks by the way! And by that I mean their first EP. After that they become pants.

Thirteenth Sign - I like, but am somewhat concerned by their choice of friends *cough* Trivium *cough* Bonesaw - Nice and curdling, I reckon they'd go down a storm! Shieldwall - Do you really need to ask?

Off topic I know, but the first Bloodbath album is far superior to the cheesy crap-fest with Tagtren on!

Now you see, I DESPISE Peter Tagtgren and would love to fight him, but I much prefer the album with him on. Oh well, haha!

Thirteenth Sign: Thumbs up! My kind of stuff. Bonesaw: Thumbs up! Diiiiirty! Shieldwall: Bit hey-nonny-nonny for me, but I'd still not object to seeing them at all.
All three are a refreshing new type of music to get at Reanimator!
