The King and Gaahl version is doing the tour, while Infernus talks to the lawyers about getting the name back (he did start the band 14 years ago, after all...)
Hellhammer is joining them for future recordings, but they have a couple of live members for the tour.

I was disappointed by Gorgoroth at Party.San this summer. "This is SPARTAAAAAAAARRGH!" was what he was bellowing, it seemed... To be honest, I was quite a way back, but he just kept walking around the stage - they generated very little atmosphere, and the sound quality was gash. Still, great band - Ad Majorem... was one of my favourite albums of last year.
Wayne was telling me they've given Infernus the boot, which seems daft. I'd love to see Shining and Sunn0))), wouldn't mind seeing Endstille... all London gigs?

Ugh I'm gonna go I think still just to see how it pans out. Should be fine. Poor lil' Infernus though hehe.

Bloody hell, two new members in such a short space of time has to be a record. Welcome to the board Laura, please hang out & post lots. Whereabouts did you hear about us? I know fuck all about black metal so thats about as much as I can contribute to this discussion.... Thanks! A friend of mine whom lives nearby was showing me a few of the places near Coventry where i'd be able to meet some people with common interests, and Reanimator took my fancy. I think he's taking me down to the next one in November, so hopefully I'll see you all there What sort of bands are you into then? I do like the odd death metal, gore/grind, thrash.. and even some folk if that helps haha.

London eh... I've got little to do tomorrow, so I'll check it out properly. I should come into a substantial amount of cash in the not-too-distant future, so London gigs remain a possibility if there's enough interest on the forums we could maybe contemplate some sort of trek down there?

Will be going to Shining for certain. Gorgoroth were crap this summer, much worse than last time I saw them in the Underworld. Enthroned were also crap live when I saw them. They were blown offstage by Decayed, and didn't play much from the albums I like by them.

I thought you enjoyed Gorgoroth this summer? Or was that just the keg of Warsteiner you'd drunk that day ;D

I remember thinking that the sound was dire and that they were pretty lame. Maybe your memory has been eroded by beer?! I really fancy a keg of Warsteiner right now to be honest!

My favourite bands are the likes Bolt Thrower, Carcass, Obituary, Lord Gore, Grave and Impaled, so that should give you an idea of my tastes... I'm also a big fan of folk music and folk metal despite the general consensus of its gayness around here
