I've decided to chuck out my old leather jacket. Anyone who has spent a reasonable amount of time in my company knows what a legendarily bad state it is in and that, between being wafer thin, devoid of any lining and riddled with holes, it isn't actually any use as an actual jacket whatsoever and has been that way for several years. I've been to gigs where the jacket is older than some of the people playing.
I expect nobody cares but this is a thread to mark its passing. RIP my old jacket.

I know that feeling.
I had a pair of trainers that I had worn forever so comfy walked many miles in them/perfect for festivals etc. Sadly whilst in New York the soles split and I had to buy a pair over there.
You should of saw the pair of trainers Adam had it was like a offspring of your jacket.

Sad news. Haha, my trainers didn't have quite the age of Luke's jacket, but they sure were in a bad state. They've been chucked now. Shoes are gay.

After this outpouring of grief it appears the jacket may be being reanimated.... we have cut away the worst bits (collar, lining) and are looking to stitch it into a denim. I really didnt want to part with it.
