I've only seen him fan boying on the net before, but any chances I may have given him were thrown out of the window after he said that to me.

He once told a mate of mine he was in Anaal Nathrakh. He's a fucking weirdo.

Recently acquired a stiff neck and a ringing in my ears from the Bolt Thrower gig. I never wear earplugs to gigs - I guess I'll be stone deaf by the time I'm 40.

Haha, what a tool!
Charlotte - I never saw you or Luke there!
I can't stress enough how important ear plugs are, did you know that one minute of unprotected exposure from last night can permanently damage your hearing? A decent pair of earplugs are more than worth the investment, you can get some pretty good ones which just reduce the volume and don't take much away from the actual sound, and believe me you won't go back when you discover the joys of going home after a gig and being able to actually slep!

We got there around 10pm because the asylum is so far out of the centre of town and we didn't really anticipate how long it would take us to get there!
Link me some decent earplugs and I'll start wearing them! I know it's important to look after your hearing, and I know that my hearing is already fucked - I have permanent tinnitus, and when it's quiet I can hear a gentle buzzing/ringing sound at all times. That said, it can't hurt to start protecting it now.

I have some ones very similar to that, worth every penny. If you already suffer from some nasty buzzing, you really need to get onto that. My dad has tinnitus and it's hell to live with, he's an enormous music fan and it really gets him down at times.

I've never worn earplugs to gigs and (touch wood) my hearing is fine. The thought of my hearing being damaged is really, really scary though so perhaps I'll invest in some of these too.

I was rehearsing some new stuff I've been working on last week through head-phones and the ringing, muffled aching and sensitivity to loud sound afterwards was a wake-up call that I need to get some plugs myself.

Dead Congregation/Hatespawn split
Yeah, definitely worth the 8 Euros it cost. Anastasis included some odd things in the package though - a Greek stamp from 2003 and a Dead Congregation t-shirt flyer that's got most of the text on one side printed backwards. Weird.
