Fuck! They absolutely rule! Killer thrashing heavy metal madness with a slight touch of blackness. I'll bring some along at the next Reanimator I make it to (having to go home for dental work when the next one is sadly).

Now playing :
Alice In Chains - Music Bank - simply some of the most powerful music ever created in my opinion.
Bunkur - Bludgeon - Some of the slowest music ever created. One track, 65 minutes of total doom. No guitar, just two basses, drums, keys and vocals. Sheer darkness.

Now playing the first 6 Black Sabbath albums, and seriously considering whether it is worth listening to anything else ever.

Still deep in the Sabbath phase, but got tempted away by....
Mystifier - Goetia
These guys get a lot of press for their Real Black Metal slogan, but this album is a fantastic occult Black/Death masterpiece - rotten low vocals, chainsaw riffing, creepy doomy parts and well used atmospheric keyboards - highly recommended to anyone who likes old school DM or more occult sounding (ie early Rotting Christ and Mortuary Drape) BM.

Just invested in the new Biomechanical album, The Empires of the Worlds... interesting to see if they live up to the hype. Also, Zyklon's World Ov Worms, which I'm told is worth a spin.

Excellent... got it in a limited edition tin thing for a seemingly reasonable £10.99 from play.com
Not bad?

Chaos Deathcult is simply fucking awesome!
Saw Biomechanical at Bilskirnir ages ago, and I thought they were quite good, but I ain't heard the new stuff now that they are "bigger".

Actually saw a biomechanical video on tv the other night, either on Scuzz or Kerrang. Luke recognised them straight away.

Actually saw a biomechanical video on tv the other night, either on Scuzz or Kerrang. Luke recognised them straight away. I'm a veritable font of useless metal knowledge.... I didn't like Biomechanical at all when I've seen them live but good luck to them - talented chaps and we could do with a british metal act on cable TV that doesn't sound like the fucking Stereophonics. Today / yesterday I've been playing assorted stuff by: Ultra Vomit, Coffins, Whore, Quest of Aidence, Leng T'che, Frightmare, Lord Gore, Vomit Remnants and XXX Maniak.... anyone into grind could do a hell of a lot worse that pick up albums by any one of these!
